The Storyist may be a creative copywriting company, but I also love to help indie authors, or any aspiring authors for that matter, in creating a clean, polished manuscript, supplemented with quality marketing copy.
Just this past spring I had the opportunity to self publish an ebook that I had been working on writing for quite some time. It was quite the process, but now that I’ve been through it I can honestly say that it wasn’t as difficult as I expected it to be. I would love to write and self-publish more books in the future, but I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.
But in the meantime, I’d love to help you with your story! I offer an array of editing and proof reading services that will really make your novel shine. I’m also available to do beta reading, depending on my current workload. I’m always looking for new stories to read, and would love to give you feedback on yours! It you need help formatting your ebook for Kindle, I can help you with that too.
Another important aspect of self publishing is the ever-powerful book blurb. This is the short description that goes on Amazon/other digital platforms, or the back copy on a printed book, which means it’s often the first thing readers see when looking at your book. You may only have a few seconds to pique their interest, so you better make those words count! If you need help crafting something compelling, just let me know. We’ll work together to create an exciting, attention-grabbing piece of copy!
If you’ve always wanted to become an author, I would encourage you to research your options and consider going the indie route. There are so many successful authors who have gone this way, and you could be the next to join their ranks!
I’m planning on writing more on this topic in the future, but for now, here are some resources that I have found extremely helpful in my own writing journey. Every story is important. If you’ve got an idea floating around in your head, I would encourage you to start writing it out today! Time is money!
